ANNUAL ISLE OF EIGHT FLAGS SHRIMP FESTIVAL

          

The popular regional festival will be celebrated May 3, 4 and 5 and held in the heart of historic downtown Fernandina Beach. CONCOURS D’ELEGANCE - AMELIA ISLAND’S PREMIER AUTOMOBILE EVENT MARCH 8-10

For everyone that loves cars - the 18^th annual Amelia Island Concours d’Elegance has lots to offer. Now in its second decade, The Amelia Island Concours d’Elegance is among the top automotive events in the world. Always held the second full weekend in March, “The Amelia” draws nearly 250 rare vehicles from collections around the world to Amelia Island for a celebration of the automobile like no other. The annual event benefits Community Hospice of Northeast Florida, Inc. and other deserving charities on Florida’s First Coast. This three-day celebration of the best of the best in cars is scheduled for Friday, Saturday and Sunday, March 8-10, 2013 at the Ritz-Carlton Amelia Island. The centerpiece, Concours d’Elegance, is held on Sunday March 10, 2013 opens at 9:30 A.M., remaining open until 5:00 P.M.

Amelia Island Blues Festival & Jazz Festival

September 14,15 and 16th the second annual Amelia Island Blues Festival will offer the very best in blues music at its ocean side venue just down the beach from Elizabeth Pointe Lodge.

Amelia Island Annual Jazz Festival will entertain from October 7-14 and October 13 the island will host the first annual Amelia Island Wine Festival.

GREAT SOUTHERN TAILGATE COOK-OFF

August 24-25 Amelia Island celebrates a great southern tradition – barbeque. Elizabeth Pointe Lodge, an oceanfront boutique hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of the fun filled event. Entertainment includes headliner the Australian rock group Little River Band, as well as Jimmy Parrish & The Ocean Waves Band, Orlando-based 80's and 90's rock band Rockit Fly and many more.
