AMELIA ISLAND CELEBRATES BOOKS WITH ITS ANNUAL TWO DAY BOOK FESTIVAL

February 17 and 18th Amelia Island becomes an island with readers and authors mingling  and celebrating the written word. It all starts with an all day Writer’s Workshop on Friday, an author luncheon and free book festival on Saturday. Featured authors include Paula McLain (The Paris Wife), Tatjana Soli, (The Lotus Eaters), David Morrell (creator of Rambo), Steve Berry (Cotton Malone series) as well as local and regional authors. Amelia Island Blues Festival September 16-17, 2011

The first annual Amelia Island Blues Festival is scheduled September 16-17 at Main Beach and will include music, food, drinks and lots of activities guaranteeing family fun. Major blues artists include Willie "Big Eyes" Smith; Albert Castiglia; David Gerald Band; Roger "Hurricane" Wilson; Blistur; Conrad Oberg; 6th Street Rhythm & Blues Review and many more. The Amelia Island 2nd Annual Great Southern Tailgate Cook-off
